Fuisce is 1 and a half years old. Very good natured and affectionate. But he is a very big strong and boisterous boy. He is not particularly aggressive to other male dogs but will need wise handling due to his strength, speed and bulk. He is microchipped but unneutered presently, arrangements can be made to have him neutered if preferred by an adoptee. He has been returned to me the breeder as too big and boisterous for his family, he is with me now 6 motnhs and I have done a lot of training with him & he is very well mannered now indeed but still I would feel better knowing he would go to someone expereinced in handling large strong terriers or guard type dogs.

Finally brought Broc to a working dog show. It was on the scarva road Banbridge,It was well worth the drive. He went against several strong dog breeds to come second. I put him in against a large field of working terrier. Some fine dogs in it.He came first.

Ballyclare Fionn Mac Cumhaill Wins Green Star Dog St. Paddy's Day

Major Congratulations to Enda Buckley & Fionn ( Ballyclare Finn Mc Cool) for lifting Green Star dog against a 5 five dog competition including O'Tooles Mondo, Romainville Bodhran ( Eurodog 2010 winner) and Swedish dog Irish Rovers Sir Bob Brookmeyer. Best of Breed went to Aberann Tiffany.

This is Enda's first time at St. Pats day show with an exhibit and Fionn is his very first dog bred in his Ballyclare kennel. What a start we are all so happy for him and thrilled for Fionn who apparently rose to the occasion and delighted Enda with a star performance that went all right on the night.

Fionn is out of 2 WORKING glens and is on his way to becoming an excellent sporting dog too. Apparently his excellent condition was clearly visible at the show ring where his well defined musculature was on display for all to see.

Fionn is a grandson of my Bailielands Bruce and my Ballyclare Oscar is his younger full brother :)

I have 2 Glen bitches out of Wicklow Lad & Ballyfoyle Glendalough. My girl's call names are Cagney and Lacey (Ravencroft Banrion Riabhach & R. Deirfiur Beag). My girls are currently a little over 2 years now. They are my first experience with Glens, and "WOW" what a trip it's been. Cagney is a fiery Irish girl and little Lacey is sweet as they come. They are opposites in just about everything. Sometimes I swear they are from different parents. I will be posting photos as soon as I get my laptop back from my husband.

Hi,

I'm Cricket and I have 2 glen bitches that I imported from Ireland. My girls, Cagney and Lacey, are currently 2 years old.

A few weeks ago, I attended an AKC Breeders Symposium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was held at one of the east coast's premier Vet schools. I really enjoyed it and just wished it was longer. We touch on genetic diseases, nutrition, dog and bitch breeding processes, and the need to keep things clean.

Just wanted to pop in with my first posting to Marie's new list.
